This problem is most likely to occure when you use a DELL laptop. Make sure that you have the latest drivers installed otherwise Java3D will not be supported correctly.

I have the same problem on my Asus laptop. As far as i know i have the latest drivers installed. Although i don't exactly know which drivers are needed for the game.

I spoke to soon. My display drivers where indeed older. I have installed the new SiS UniVGA3 driver and now the applet runs normally.
